GAME NOTES
- Ball State and Cleveland State have met five times, with Ball State leading the all-time series record, 3-1. Â
- The Cardinals won their last meeting over the Vikings last season by a score of 76-64 on Nov. 11, 2017 in the Wolstein Center.
- Ball State has won the last three meetings against Cleveland State. Â
- The Vikings lone win over the Cardinals came in the 1999-2000 season. Cleveland State defeated Ball State by a 92-77 decision in Cleveland, Ohio. That loss came against former Ball State head   coach Brenda Freese in her first season at the helm of the Cardinals. Freese has been the head coach at Maryland since 2002.

10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY
The 2008-09 Ball State women's basketball team will be recognized for their accomplishments Sunday, Nov. 11 against Cleveland State in Worthen Arena. Here are a list of their accomplishments.
- Program's first-ever Mid-American Conference Tournament title after beating Bowling Green by a score of 55-51.
- NCAA first round upset over Tennesse, defeating the Lady Vols, 71-55, and snapping Tennessee's 42-game win streak in first and second rounds. Former guard Porchia Green led the Cardinals that game with 23 points and will be inducted to this year's Ball State Athletics Hall of Fame in February.
- ESPN considered it the most historic upset in the women's NCAA Tournament.
- Received "Pontiac Game Changing Performance" from the NCAA.
- Former head coach Kelly Packard was the recipient of the Maggie Dixon Coach of the Year award.
- MAC West Division Champions after posting the best conference record (14-2) and the best home record 14-1 in program history. Both records still stand in the program annals.
- Finished the season with an overall record of 26-9.
