Cardinals’ team scoring average is more than five shots better than last year

The Ball State men's golf team will close out its fall schedule this week at the Musketeer Classic hosted by Xavier. The Cardinals are part of a 14-team field for the event.

About the Cardinals
Ball State is coming off a sixth-place finish last week at the inaugural Chatham Hills Collegiate. The Cardinals, who finished one stroke out of the top 5, will utilize the same lineup this week in Cincinnati.

Keegan Bronnenberg tied for 18th to lead Ball State at Chatham Hills, running his streak to seven consecutive rounds of par or better. He leads a Cardinals team that is averaging 290.45 per team round. For the sake of comparison, that number is more than five shots better than the team's average last year.
