Three Things to Know:
1. Junior QB Riley Neal leads the Mid-American Conference in completion percentage (67.7). He has completed better than 60 percent of his passes in all three games. Neal's completion rate of 74.2 percent last weekend against Tennessee Tech was the second highest of his career.
2. Senior DE Anthony Winbush equaled a personal high with seven tackles last week against Tennessee Tech. Through three games, Winbush leads the nation in sacks (6.5) and tackles for loss (9.5). Winbush needs five more sacks to equal Ball State's career record of 25, which is held by current defensive line coach Keith McKenzie.
3. A tight end has caught a touchdown pass in all three games this year. Sophomore TE Danny Pinter tallied a scoring catch against UAB on Sept. 9 while TE Nolan Givan scored at Illinois and against Tennessee Tech.
By the Numbers:

4 – Ball State's defense has made four fourth down stops in the first three games. Last year, the Cardinals stopped 13 of 17 fourth down attempts by the opposition.
14 – Number of true freshmen who have seen action for the Cardinals through the first three games.
