Men’s Swimming and Diving Completes First Two Days of MAC Championships

CARBONDALE, Ill. – The Ball State men's swimming and diving team wrapped up the first two days of the Mid-American Conference swimming and diving championships Wednesday and Thursday.
Ball State competed in two different events on the first night of competition. The first event was the 200 medley relay. Ben Andrew, Cullen Tyler, Tanner Barton and Austin Green teamed up for a time of 1:32.01.
Barton and Andrew went on to compete in the 200 freestyle relay along with Logan Ackley and Banistre Lienhart. The four clocked a final time of 6:45.76.
Another relay team competed on Thursday night. Andrew, Lienhart, Zach Reichle and Austin Green came together to post a time of 1:23.59 in the 200 freestyle relay.
After two nights of competition, the Cardinals have earned 76 points. The MAC Championships continue tomorrow and Saturday in Carbondale, Ill.
