Senior Lexi Kavanaugh scored the second goal of the day in the 51st minute of the game to put the Cardinals ahead 2-0. Kavanaugh's goal, her fifth of the season, was assisted by freshman Haley Jolly.
Central Michigan cut the lead to one in the 66th minute with a goal from Emily Barber.
The Cardinals' Hannah Bohn turned right around and scored her third goal of the season assisted by sophomore Darbi Gullett just one minute after the CMU goal to seal the Cardinal victory.
