GENEVA, Ohio - The Ball State men's swim and dive team sits in seventh place with 26 points after Wednesday night's opening relay events at the 2015 Mid-American Conference Men's Swimming & Diving Championships, hosted by the SPIRE Institute.
The 800 freestyle relay team combined of seniors Joseph Morris and Neal Fennig, and sophomores Andrew Carlson and Tanner Barton turned in a sixth place finish with a final time of 6:45.00 in the process of earning 26 points.
The day opened with competition between all schools in the 200 medley relay, although Ball State was unable to capitalize on the opportunity to produce any points.
Missouri State currently holds 80 points, along with Eastern Michigan and Southern Illinois at 68 and 64 points respectively, round out the top three spots on the leader board heading into day two of MAC Championships.
