MBB, Interlock Partner for Autism Awareness Event
March 04, 2015 | Men's Basketball
Friday night at Worthen Arena, the Ball State men's basketball program will welcome families supported by Interlock of East Central Indiana to enjoy a night out of fun and hoops as the Cardinals host Northern Illinois at 7 p.m..
“We are thrilled to partner with Ball State Athletics to increase autism awareness and let families with those living with Autism Spectrum Disorder know we are here for them,” Interlock President Chad Shelley said. “We can't wait to cheer on the Cardinals!”
Interlock families and visitors will get to meet Charlie Cardinal and spirit squad members. In addition, food and beverages will be provided for the group in a special area on the concourse designed for situations when de-escalation comes into play.
