
Cross Country Places Four on Academic All-MAC Squad

MUNCIE, Ind. - - Four members of the Ball State cross country program were named to the 2015 Academic All-Mid-American Conference Cross Country Team as announced by the league office Tuesday.
Student-athletes with a 3.20 grade-point average who participate in at least 50 percent of their team's meets are named to the squad. First-year players and junior college transfers are not eligible.
Junior Ericka Rinehart (Angola, Ind./Angola), who led the Cardinals to the line at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional (Nov. 13), earns the honor for the second straight season. A nursing major with a 3.667 GPA, Rinehart was also Ball State's third fastest runner at the 2015 MAC Championship (Oct. 31).
First-time honorees joining Rinehart on the list were; junior pre-art major Emma Manchess (Pendleton, Ind./Pendleton Heights/IPFW), sophomore pre-business major Rachel Billingsley (Batesville, Ind./Oldenburg Academy) and sophomore exercise science major Jessica Bryzek (Brownsburg, Ind./Indiana Academy).
