MUNCIE, Ind. - Ball State head men's tennis coach Bill Richards has announced that Luke Wiese (Carmel, Ind./Guerin Catholic High School) has signed a National Letter of Intent and will join the Cardinals in the fall of 2016.
"We are very happy that Luke chose Ball State," Richards said.  "On paper his rankings and results don't jump out at you but he has only concentrated on tennis for the last three years.  He is very talented and an extremely hard worker that we believe has tremendous potential and a huge upside. I look forward to helping him continue to develop. I know he is motivated to help our team any way  possible."
As a junior, Wiese earned first team all-state honors.  He was ranked the ninth best senior in the state of Indiana and 46th in the midwest according to tennisrecruiting.net.  In 2014-15, Wiese owned a 14-6 overall record at the No. 1 singles position.
