Cross Country To Run At Miami Invitational Saturday

MUNCIE, Ind. - - The Ball State cross country team continues its 2014 campaign Saturday, when it travels to Oxford, Ohio, for the Miami Invitational at the Miami University Cross Country Course.
Action in the 5K meet gets underway at 9:30 a.m. and is scheduled to feature the Cardinals and host RedHawks, along with Ohio and Wright State.
At last weekend's Ohio Invitational, the Cardinals finished third overall behind both Miami and Ohio. Senior twin sisters Courtney Edon and Caitlynn Edon(New Palestine, Ind./New Palestine) led Ball State at the 6K meet, placing seventh (23:10.26) and 12th (23:51.73), respectively.
Overall, three of the Cardinals' nine runners at the Ohio Invitational turned in career-best 6K times, with Ball State's five scored runners finishing the course in an average time of 24:30.88.
