Joel Godett sits down with Ball State men's basketball assistant coach Brian Thornton to discuss his Midwest ties, his playing days and his coaching career to this point.
Thornton joined the Ball State staff in May after two years as an assistant at Winthrop. The Louisville native played collegiately at Vanderbilt and Xavier. In his final season at Xavier, Ball State head coach James Whitford was an assistant with the Musketeers.
