Baseball Suffers 4-0 Loss at Campbell

Ball State's baseball team suffered a 4-0 loss at Campbell Tuesday afternoon to fall to 10-6 on the season. The Cardinals and Camels will meet Wednesday at 4 p.m. in the final game of the series.
Kyle Raleigh started the game on the mound for Ball State and pitched one inning before Zach Plesac came on for the next five innings. Plesac allowed one earned run, while striking out three, but was credited with the loss. Nestor Bautista and Tyler Jordan finished out the game for the Cardinals. Plesac falls to 4-1 on the season.
The Cardinals gave up four runs on five hits with one error to Campbell, while Ball State was held scoreless despite eight hits in the game. Ball State left nine runners on base in the game.
Sean Kennedy led the Cardinals offensively with a 2-for-3 performance from the plate.
