Men's Basketball: Keeping Kammy Healthy
December 30, 2014 | Men's Basketball
Fifth-year senior Matt Kamieniecki has had to deal with more than his fair share of injuries during his time with the Ball State men's basketball program.
Now the healthiest he has been in years, Kamieniecki is putting up career-best numbers in his final season in Muncie.
The Cardinals have developed special practice rules to keep the hard-nosed post player healthy. Kamieniecki is banned from diving for lose balls or taking charges, two things he is especially known for.
His practice time is also limited and closely montinored. The trade off is the hope Kamieniecki will be able to play every game in his senior season.
Joel Godett takes a closer look at The Kammy Rules.
