SL TV: I Play For You (Cole Smith)

In a brand new series from Ball State Sports Link, athletes share their inspiration for what drives them. In this "I Play For You", men's swimmer Cole Smith shares his story.
At the Doug Coers Invite in November, Smith registered the final individual event win for the Cardinals in the 50 freestyle with a time of 21.30. He also recorded a first place finish in the 400 relay with a 3:11.94 finish, along with second place finishes including the 400 medley relay (3:30.28), 200 medley relay (1:36.06), and the 400 free relay (3:11.94). Smith also posted a third place finish in the 100 free with a time of 48.55.
Junior Zac Miklusak and sophomore J.C. Obringer serve as executive producers for "I Play For You."
