James Whitford's first few weeks as Ball State's men's basketball coach have been hectic. From moving from Arizona to Muncie, working to hire a new staff, getting to know his current players and getting started on the recruiting trail, Whitford has had plenty on his hands.
Through all of his busy days, Whitford took the time to sit and talk with the voice of the men's basketball team, Joel Godett, about his job and what his first few weeks have been like. The duo also discuss Whitford's prior coaching stops and his coaching influences, while touching on his goals for the Ball State program.
