Women's Tennis Suffers 7-0 Loss to Buffalo

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State University women's tennis team (7-15, 1-6 MAC) suffered a 7-0 loss at home to Buffalo Friday evening at the Muncie YMCA Tennis Center.
At No. 3 doubles the BSU twosome of Kristel Sanders and Lauren Pickrel lost by two points 8-6 to Marta Stoyanova and Shelby Bates. The Cardinals headed into singles play down 1-0 to the Bulls. Buffalo swept all six singles matches. Sanders, Sarah Hebble and Kylee Johnson all lost in three sets.
The Ball State University women's tennis team will end its Mid-American Conference regular season Saturday at home against Akron at the Cardinal Creek Tennis Center, weather permitting. The match is set to begin at 1 p.m., where BSU will pay tribute to its lone senior Georgina Thomson.
