Women's Tennis Falls to Akron, 1-6

At the No. 1 spot the duo of Dena Boulieris and Georgina Thompson (BSU) were beat by the team of Zara Harutyunyan and Angelina Jogasuria (AU), 8-2. The Zips swept in the doubles matches.
In singles matches, Sarah Hebble had the Cardinals only victory and defeated Angelina Jogasuria, 6-1, 6-2, at the No. 3 spot.
The Ball State University women's tennis will compete in the Mid-American Conference Championship at Ypsilanti, Mich. The Cardinals will play Northern Illinois University on Thursday, April 28.
