MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State men's basketball program has announced Coats For Cardinals community service project for the Tuesday, November 29 game against Texas Southern. The project will run in conjunction with the athletics department Cardinals' Care program and will benefit the Muncie community.
Head coach Billy Taylor and the Cardinals will be collecting coats of all sizes, ages and genders upon entrance to Ball State's November 29 game against Texas Southern. Fans who bring one coat for donation will receive a free general admission ticket to the 7 p.m. game at Worthen Arena. Coats will be collecting prior to the game and up until halftime.
The Cardinals have partnered with Union Chapel and "Hearts & Hands United" to help distribute all of the coats received to the Muncie community. Community service has always been a foundation for the men's basketball team and Coach Taylor wants help from the Cardinals basketball fans on this special night.
