Follow Men's Basketball To The Great Alaska Shootout

MUNCIE, Ind. - Ball State men's basketball fans will have the opportunity to follow the 2010-11 Cardinals to Alaska this season as BSU takes part in the prestigious Carrs/Safeway Great Alaska Shootout. The Ball State athletic department, in conjunction with Anthony Travel, is offering an official fan travel package to watch the Cardinals in Anchorage November 22-27.
Packages through Anthony Travel will include accommodations at the official team hotel (Captain Cook Hotel), tournament admission, game day transportation and an exclusive Thanksgiving dinner with the team.
Prices are $709 per person for double occupancy rooms and $1,039 for single occupancy. A limited number of packages are available and air travel is not included in the package.

The Cardinals open the eight-team tournament November 24 when they take on Big East foe St. John's. Other teams on the Cardinals' side of the bracket include Southern Utah and Drake while the bottom half of the bracket features Houston Baptist, Arizona State, Weber State and host Alaska Anchorage. BSU will play three total games (Nov. 24, 26 and 27) during the tournament.
