Men's Basketball Staff Sets Camp for June 14-18

Ball State head men's basketball coach Billy Taylor and his staff will conduct a full day camp catering to grades 1-8 with a wide range of skill levels from June 14-18.
The full day camp will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day with the option of early arrival (8 a.m.) or late pickup (5 p.m.). The Ball State Basketball camp staff will assess the skill level, size and age to appropriately place campers in a position which will maximize their camp experience.
Each camper will receive a Ball State Basketball t-shirt, Ball State camper book with comprehensive evaluation on the individual, certificate of participation and skill development ideas. Daily competitions and games will be divided according to age groups to ensure safety and competitive games.
Ball State basketball campers will received fundamental instruction and supervision each day with many of the Ball State men's basketball players and coaches.
Coach Taylor will be in his fourth season as the Ball State men's basketball coach this season. He joined the Cardinals after a successful five-year stint as the head coach at Lehigh University. As a player, Coach Taylor was recruited to play at Notre Dame by coaching legend Digger Phelps. Taylor lettered all four years for the Irish and was voted team captain twice. He graduated from Notre Dame with a bachelor's degree in business administration and computer applications before working as a financial consultant before entering coaching in 1998.
