
Women's Tennis Gets Swept By WMU

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State University women's tennis team went 0-2 in its Mid-American Conference opening weekend when it suffered a 7-0 loss to Western Michigan Saturday afternoon at the Cardinal Creek Tennis Center.
With the loss the Cardinals fall to 6-9 overall and 0-2 in league action.
The No. 2 doubles tandem of Katherine Rist and Kylee Johnson lost 8-5 to the Broncos Amanda Moccia and Jill Pastunink. Ball State lost in straight sets in singles action.
The Ball State University women's tennis team will continue MAC play when it travels to Northern Illinois Friday. The match will begin at 1 p.m. (EST).
