Men?s Tennis Loses At No. 11 Illinois

URBANA, Ill. – The Ball State University men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 match to No. 11 Illinois Friday afternoon at the Khan Outdoor Tennis Complex. With the loss the Cardinals drop to 10-5 on the season.
The Cardinals fell behind early to Illinois after dropping the doubles point. The BSU twosome of junior Eduardo Pavia and freshman Dalton Albertin claimed the lone doubles victory for Ball State after defeating Abe Souza and Marek Czerwinski by a score of 8-6.
In singles action sophomore Cliff Morrison, Albertin and junior Shaun Bussert all lost in three sets.
The Ball State men's tennis team returns home Saturday against Butler with a 1 p.m. start at the Cardinal Creek Tennis Center weather permitting.
