Men's Basketball Hosts Annual Media Day

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State men's basketball team kicked off the 2010-11 season Thursday afternoon as the Cardinals hosted their annual media day at Worthen Arena. Head coach Billy Taylor held his initial press conference of the season while all of the BSU student-athletes were made available to media for one-on-one interview sessions.

Ball State has held five practices so far this season since opening preseason work October 15. The Cardinals return 10 players from last season's 15-15 team, including four full-time starters and five players who started at least 11 games. Ball State also welcomes in a highly touted recruiting class that includes five freshmen and a sophomore transfer.

The Cardinals open the 2010-11 season Sunday, November 14 as they host Eastern Illinois. Game time is set for 3 p.m. at Worthen Arena.
