Women's Golf Finish 11th at Indiana Invitational

Ball State's women's golf team finished in 11th out of 14 teams at the Indiana Invitational at Otter Creek Golf Course in Columbus, Ind. The tournament was won by UNLV, while Ball State defeated Western Michigan, the only other Mid-American Conference team in the event.
The tournament field included nationally ranked UNLV and Texas plus six teams from the Big Ten Conference.
The Cardinals tallied a 326-325-325=976 to finish 28 strokes ahead of Western Michigan from the MAC.
Rachael Pruett was Ball State's top golfer after carding a 79-78-84=157 to tie for 27th in the 84-player field.
Brittany Kelly tied for 31st with a 76-85-81=242, while Kristtini Cain tallied an 86-81-79=246 to tie for 41st.
Kirsty O'Connor managed an 85-81-81=247, while Paige Esford carded an 88-85-85=258.
Sarah Windlan, who was competing as an individual, managed an 83-84-83=250.
