Field Hockey Announces 2009 Fall Schedule

MUNCIE, Ind. ? The Ball State field hockey team revealed its 2009 schedule, starting with a road trip to North Carolina beginning Aug. 29 at Davidson and Aug. 30 against Appalachian State. Ball State's seventh-year head field hockey coach Annette Payne announced the Cardinals will play seven games on the road to begin the new season.
The field hockey team's home opener is scheduled for 3 p.m. Sept. 23 versus Ohio State. Ball State's Mid-American Conference home opener is set for 3 p.m. Oct. 2 where the Cardinals will face Miami.
The Cardinals will host seven games at the BSU Field Hockey Complex this season, in addition to hosting the Mid-American Conference Tournament Nov. 5-7.
