Women's Tennis Earns 6-1 Victory At UWGB

GREEN BAY, Wis. - The Ball State women's tennis team improved to 5-5 on the season with a 6-1 victory at Wisconsin Green-Bay Sunday afternoon. The Cardinals won both of their matches in the state of Wisconsin winning previously Friday 5-2 at Wisconsin Milwaukee.
For the second straight match in a matter of three days Ball State earned the doubles point winning at No. 2 and No. 3. The freshmen twosome of Kylee Johnson and Sarah Hebble caputed an 8-4 match over Aschley Jurquella and Morgan Weuve. Senior Rachel Surowiec and Hanna Oman sealed the doubles point for the Cardinals with an 8-4 victory over Kari Petrashek and Kelly Stadum.
Ball State won five of its six singles matches. Freshman Dena Boulieris, Johnson and sophomore Georgina Thomson all improved to 5-4 on the season winning at 2, 3 and five respectively.
