
Cardinals Crush Boilermakers 7-3

Lisa Rozanski got hit by a pitch to lead off the game. Rozanski stole second base, and moved to third off a base hit from Alyssa Collins.
Collins went on to steal second base, allowing her to move into scoring position. Abby Gross was walked to load the bases.
Amanda Pick hit a single to left centerfield that allowed Rozanksi and Collins to score putting the Cardinals on top 2-0.
Suzie Rzegocki of Purdue walked Elizabeth Milian to reload the bases for BSU.

A pair of home runs got Purdue back into the game. Katie Mitchell led off the fourth inning with a solo home run for the Boilermakers.
Kelsey Haupert hit a two-run home run to pull the Boilermakers within a run of Ball State, but the Cardinals came back to score three runs in the bottom of the fifth inning.
Collins singled up the middle for her second hit of the day in the fifth inning. She stole second base and scored her 27th run of the season off an RBI single from Gross.
Katelyn Gunderson entered the game to pinch run for Gross. She advanced to second when Haupert walked Pick. Both runners advanced off a wild throw from Haupert.
Milian delivered a two-out double to right centerfield that sent two more runs in for Ball State increasing their lead to 7-3.
Tiffany Garofano picked up her 10th win of the season against Purdue. Garofano threw a complete game and recorded five strikeouts.
The Cardinals will return to action Friday, April 18 with a doubleheader against
