Women's Tennis Loses At Home To BGSU, 6-1

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State University women's tennis team (8-10, 1-7 MAC) closed out its two-match Mid-American Conference weekend with a 6-1 loss to Bowling Green Saturday afternoon at the Muncie YMCA Tennis Center.
The Falcons took the early edge over the Cardinals after winning the doubles point.
In singles action Emma Retter was the lone Cardinal to win after posting a 6-4, 6-1 victory over BGSU's Jenna Nussbau at No. 4.
The Ball State University women's tennis team will end its regular season before the MAC Championships when it hosts Northern Illinois Saturday, April 19. The match will begin at 1 p.m. at the Cardinal Creek Tennis Center, weather permitting.
