Men's Swimming & Diving Moves Up A Spot At MAC's

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Ball State University men's swimming and diving team moved from 10th place after day one's events to ninth late Friday night at the Sun Belt/Mid-American Conference Championship.
The Cardinals currently have 87 points and they are ahead of the University of Evansville with 86 points.
BSU finished eighth out of 10 teams in the 200 medley relay. The quartet of Brett Pettit, Ryan Franklin, Jacob Morris and Ben Battjes turned in a time of 1:34.39.
Franklin earned a 10th place finish in the 100 breast stroke with a time of 57.72.
The foursome of Mark Augustyn, Mark Golden, Austin Laska and Ben Karwoski finished ninth out of 10 in the 800 free relay clocking in a time of 6:57.80.
Ball State men's swimming and diving will conclude the Sun Belt/MAC Championship Saturday, March 1 in Nashville.
