Women's Golf Finish Eighth at Pat Bradley

The Ball State women's golf team, under the direction of fifth-year head coach Katherine Mowat, finished in eighth place at the Pat Bradley Invitational at the Pelican Preserve Golf Course in Fort Myers, Fla.
The Cardinals shot a 310-307-316=933, while Florida International won the tournament with an 884 team score.
Brittany Kelly was Ball State's top golfer and finished seventh in the 70-person field after carding a 70-75-79=224. Rachael Pruett tied for 19th with a 76-78-77=231. Kirsty O'Connor tallied an 83-76-80 and Paige Esford managed an 84-79-80. Kristtini Cain recorded an 81-78-85 for the tournament.
Joining the Cardinals and host Florida Atlantic were Daytona Beach College, Florida Gulf Coast, Florida International, Florida Southern, Kennesaw State, Middle Tennessee State, Montana, South Florida, Stetson, Texas A&M Corpus Christi and Wofford.
Ball State has completed the fall portion of its schedule and will start the spring part of the slate Feb. 22-24 at the Kiawah Island Intercollegiate at Osprey Point and Cougar Point Golf Courses in Kiawah, S.C.
