Skip Mills Named MAC West Division Player of the Week

The award is the first of Mills' career at Ball State and marks the 62nd time in the history of the award that a BSU player has been named the league's player of the week.
Mills paced Ball State in scoring in both games last week and in BSU's five games to date this season.
In a 53-50 win at IUPUI, Mills posted his second double-double of the season with 18 points and 10 rebounds, including a three-pointer with 1:31 left to play to secure the BSU victory.
He followed with a season-high 22 points and six boards in a 57-56 loss at Indiana State.
For the week, Mills averaged 20 points per game, shot 52 percent from the floor (16-of-31), 40 percent from three-point range (6-of-15), grabbed 16 boards (8.0 rpg) and averaged 33 minutes per game.
Ball State (3-2) returns to action Dec. 17 with a 4 p.m. home game against Anderson.
