Brad Weitzel joined the athletic training staff at Ball State in August of 2019. In his current role, Brad serves as the primary athletic trainer for the Cardinals' gymnastics program, and men’s & women’s tennis teams, while also assisting with in-season football coverage.
Prior to Ball State, Brad completed his graduate assistant athletic training position in 2019 at the University of Nevada-Reno where he worked with the Wolf Pack’s football & women’s tennis teams. Prior to his time in Reno, he worked for two years as an athletic training Intern at the University of Maryland primarily covering the Terrapins' football team.
Brad attended Michigan State University during his undergraduate career where he attained his bachelor of science degree in 2015. As a student at MSU, he worked with the Spartan men’s soccer, football and women’s volleyball programs.
