Ball State graduate and PGA apprentice Zach Davis joined the Cardinals women’s golf program as an assistant coach in January 2017.
He helped coach the Cardinals during a successful 2017 spring season that featured tournament victories at the Kingsmill Intercollegiate and the EKU Colonel Classic in a span of six days. Ball State also featured the individual medalist at both events,
Davis has worked as an assistant golf pro at The Bridgewater Club in Carmel, Indiana, since 2012. He also served as the assistant varsity golf coach at Brebeuf Jesuit Prep from 2013-16.
Davis has worked at various golf courses in both Indiana and California. He also has experience as a certified club technician and a tournament coordinator for the Hamilton County Junior Golf Association.
A 2011 graduate from Ball State, Davis earned a bachelor’s degree in audio/video production. While he was in Muncie, he worked from 2009-11 as a pro shop assistant at The Players Club.
Davis graduated from Westfield High School outside Indianapolis, where he was a member of a sectional championship boys’ golf team.
