HAMPTON (2025 – Redshirt Freshman): Played in 42 of a possible 49 games, earning 41 starts ... finished the season with a .235 batting average, collecting 24 total hits ... recorded four doubles and a triple, while scoring 10 runs and driving in 16 RBI ... also drew 10 walks for a .301 on base percentage ... went 1-for-2 with a pair of walks and a run scored in the 8-7 win over St. Bonaventure (Feb. 23) ... her first collegiate triple was a two-run blast to center field in the first inning of Hampton’s 11-7 win over Mount St. Mary’s (Feb. 24) ... her first collegiate two-hit game was a 2-for-3 outing with one run scored at Charleston (March 7) ... capped the scoring in the 14-10 win at Drexel (March 22) with a two-run double in the top of the 10th inning ... also added an RBU groundout in the top of the night for her first collegiate three RBI game ... capped a streak of nine straight games reaching base safely with a two-run single in the sixth inning to drive in the game-winning run in the 4-2 victory over Bowie State ... had hits in eight of the nine games, while drawing a walk in the middle contest ... went 4-for-4 in the 8-4 victory over UMES (April 22), with her two-run single in the sixth inning driving in what proved to be the game-winning run ... finished the season with a .965 fielding percentage, collecting 60 putouts and 79 assists, with just five errors ... had a hand in two of the team’s nine double plays.
HAMPTON (2024 - Freshman): Played in seven games, earning six starts ... missed the final 39 games of the season due to injury, being granted a medical redshirt ... turned in a .235 batting average, with four hits in 17 at bats ... also drew four walks for a .316 on base percentage ... her first collegiate hit was an RBI single in the third inning of the 10-1 (5) victory over Mississippi Valley State (Feb. 10) ... collected singles in her final three games of the season, with RBI in the first two outings; vs. Lindenwood (Feb. 24), vs. Marist (Feb. 24) and at Gardner-Webb (Feb. 25) ... finished her season with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage, earning 12 putouts and nine assists ... had a hand in two of the team’s 14 double played.
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four letters in softball for coach John Bradshaw at Western High School ... helped guide the Wildcats to a 55-29-1 record over her career, including district titles in each of her final three seasons ... team captured a regional title her junior year after a regional runner-up finish her sophomore season ... First Team All-County as a senior after earning second team accolades her junior campaign ... team captain in each of her final two seasons ... finished her career with a .367 batting average, including 24 doubles, four triples and four home runs ... scored 55 career runs and credited with 63 career RBI ... hit a career-best .380 as a senior, with two home runs and a pair of triples ... batted at least .344 in all four seasons ... also stole 21 career bases, including eight her senior season.
WHY BALL STATE: I chose Ball State because it was clear that everyone involved in this program truly cared about my success both on and off the field. I knew after my visit this was the place I wanted to be.
