HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four letters in softball for coach Gina Hairapetian at Chaminade College Preparatory High School … team captain for the Eagles as a junior and senior … first team All-CIF Southern Section after batting .552 in her team’s eight league games … finished CIF play with 16 hits in 29 at bats, including six triples and five home runs … also tallied 17 RBI while boasting a 1.275 slugging percentage, a 1.808 OPS and four stolen bases … helped guide the Eagles to the CIF championship as a freshman, playing center field for a team which finished the season ranked 37th overall in the state of California.

CLUB: Played her final season for the California Cruisers 18U Gold – Sievers … also played six seasons for the Panthers Gold.

WHY BALL STATE: I chose Ball State because I felt that I would be moving to a place that felt like a second home to me. Coming all the way from California, it was important for me to find a community where I felt accepted and like I could grow, and Ball State checked all the right boxes. I also liked the idea of moving to a smaller town since I grew up in a big city.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Leanne and Eric Niece … has one sister, Brooklyn … majoring in Business Administration.
