Will Patterson is the son of Greg and Mary Pat Patterson. Will has one sibling, sister Ellie. He is majoring in Finance.

What sport would you be playing if you were not playing volleyball: Basketball
2026: Appeared in 50 sets through 22 matches played, including 12 starts … captured a career-high 11 blocks in the NCAA Regional Final versus Pepperdine (May 2) which included a crucial block assist in the fifth frame to set up the Cardinals for a three-point swing to advance to the semifinal … saw his first career double-double that night, recording a career-best 12 kills on 18 swings (.667) … recorded five or more total blocks on seven occasions … finished his junior season with 59 blocks (1.18 per set) 12 digs, 69 kills (1.38 per set) and six service aces … earned Academic All-Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association honors.
2025: Started seven-of-17 matches played … averaged 1.16 kills per set, recording 52 total along with a season-best six against Lewis (Feb. 14) … finished the season with a .424 hitting clip … totaled 43 blocks, including 37 blocks assisted and six blocks solo … credited with a season-high seven blocks at Loyola Chicago (April 12) … averaged 1.81 points per set … earned Academic All-Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association honors.
2024: Started in 14-of-21 matches played ... had a .363 hitting average ... tallied 45 block assists and 3 block solos, averaging .75 blocks per set ... hit a career high of 9 blocks in a single game against Hawaii (Jan. 28) ... earned Academic All-Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association honors.
High School/Club: Prior to Ball State, Will was a three-time state champion, earning second team All-American honors. Will also led his club team as they captured third place at Nationals his senior year.
