Ryan Bartz is the son of Patrick and Stacey Bartz. Ryan has two siblings, older sisters Haley and Sydney. He is majoring in General Studies.

What sport would you be playing if you were not playing volleyball: Track
2025: Started in three-of-10 matches played … totaled 38 kills, averaging 1.52 per set … recorded a season-high seven kills versus Penn State (March 15) … set a single-game high in total blocks with five, and digs with nine against Lees-McRae (Jan. 23) … tallied 20 digs and 12 total blocks throughout the season.
2024: Started in 7-of-18 matches played ... tallied 96 kills, averaging 2.29 kills per set and a .379 hitting clip ... recorded a career high of 16 kills against Trine (Jan. 16) ... averaged .43 service aces per set with a total of 18 ... averaged 2.92 points per set.
2023: Redshirt year.
High School/Club: Prior to Ball State, Ryan was an accomplished athlete during his stay at Muskego High school, earning Wisconsin Player of the Year honors his senior year.
