Peter Zurawski is the son of Richard and Tracy Zurawski. Peter has one sibling, brother Nick. He is majoring in Sport Administration.
Started playing volleyball: At age 10
Favorite Volleyball memory: Getting second place at Nationals first year playing
Favorite trip you’ve been on/what is one place you dream of visiting: Favorite trip was visiting Canada with the family and seeing all the different types of environments
Favorite food: Chicago Italian beef
Dream job: Run a fishing charter business
Plans after college: Become a coach, working with club and high school volleyball first
What sport would you be playing if you were not playing volleyball: Soccer
2025: Started seven-of-11 matches played … averaged 9.63 assists per set, totaling 337 for the season along with a career-high 60 at Queens (NC) (March 20) … recorded over 40 assists in a single game on five occasions … tallied 61 digs during the 2025 season as he averaged 1.74 per set … completed 12 total kills, including a season-high three at Loyola Chicago (April 12).
2024: Started in 2-of-13 matches ... tallied 136 assists, averaging 5.67 assists per set ... hit a career high of 38 assists in a single game against Tusculum (Jan. 12).
High School/Club: Prior to Ball State, Peter led his Oak Park River Forest High School team to a 3rd place finish his senior year, ranking as the number one player in the class of 2023 in Illinois and earning All-State honors. Additionally, Peter participated in USAV All-Star Championship, leading his Great Lakes region to a first-place finish and receiving an All-Tournament nod.
