What does being a Cardinal mean to you?
“Being a cardinal means being able to represent something bigger than myself. It’s an honor to play at Ball State.”
Eyal is the son of Daniel Rawitz and Sari Ellenberg. A native of Israel, Eyal has two siblings, brother Roee and sister Noa. He is studying Business Administration.
Started playing volleyball: 8th grade
Favorite Volleyball memory: Winning the championship with my home club and going to celebrate later at a basketball game that the club’s pro team was playing, leading the fans with chants and being recognized
Favorite trip you’ve been on/what is one place you dream of visiting: The most memorable trip was definitely Hawaii last year with the team, amazing scenery, hospitality of the locals and our teammates’ families, and of course, great volleyball!
Favorite food: Fruit
Dream job: Pro volleyball player in the world’s top leagues
Plans after college: Play pro volleyball in Europe, eventually start a family
What sport would you be playing if you were not playing volleyball: Competitive weightlifting or Rugby/Football
