Academic All-MIVA... named MIVA Defensive Player of the Week on Feb. 16 after tallying 12 total blocks in a pair of Ball State sweeps ... appeared in 105 sets for the Cardinals and started on 19 occasions ... led the Ball State squad by marking a career-best of 124 total blocks with a 1.18 blocks per set average ... also earned a career-high of 104 kills and 41 digs ... tallied a season-high of 11 kills in the 3-2 win over McKendree (Feb. 4), as well as a season-best of nine total blocks against UC Irvine (March 20) ... en route to a .349 season hitting percentage, Pia hit a perfect 1.000 on four kills against Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association foe Quincy on Feb. 25... finished the season ranked ninth in the country in blocks per set
USA VOLLEYBALL: Selected to the 2012 and 2013 USA Volleyball Youth National Team ... team finished third at the NORCECA and qualified for the World Games where it finished 16th ... selected to the 2012 USA Volleyball HP A2 Championships where his team took fifth in the International Division ... also participated in the USA Volleyball 2013 Holiday Camp.
