2019 (Sr.): Utilized in eight games, mainly handling kickoffs … also served as the back-up field goal kicker and punter … finished with a season-high seven kickoffs in wins over Northern Illinois on Oct. 5 and Miami (Ohio) on Nov. 29 … racked up nine touchbacks on 41 kickoffs (22 percent) … made two PATs in the win over Fordham on Sept. 7.
2018 (Jr.): Played in all 12 games … split time on kickoffs for the first three games before taking over the punting duties in week four against WKU … only two of his 39 punts went for a touchback … landed all three of his punts inside the 20-yard line in the win at Central Michigan on Oct. 13 … booted two punts longer than 50 yards against Eastern Michigan on Oct. 20, including a season-best 60-yard punt in the first quarter … punted a season-high eight times at Ohio on Oct. 25.
PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Spent the previous two years at Eastern Arizona College under head coach John O’Mera … made six field goals in 2017, including a long of 53 yards, which ranked first nationally in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) … averaged 42.6 yards per punt with a long of 55 yards last fall … connected on the game-winning field goal with 11 seconds remaining against Phoenix in 2016 … two-time all-league kicker/punter.
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four letters as a kicker and punter from head coach Reed Boltmann at Edina High … finished with 26 career field goals, one shy of the Minnesota high school record … averaged 40.12 yards per punt as a senior, with a long of 67 yards … named Minnesota’s 2014 All-State Special Teams Player of the Year … second team all-state as a sophomore … three-time conference Special Teams Player of the Year.
