2019 (Fr.): Earned first letter at Ball State … played in 49 games, earning 29 starts … one of only four players in program history to finish a season with a perfect stolen base percentage (min. 10 attempts), going 16-for-16 on the season … registered a .308 batting average, collecting 20 hits in 65 at bats … ranked third on the team with 27 runs scored … also drew a walk and was hit by a pitch once for a .444 on base percentage … scored what proved to be the game-winning run in four contests; at FGCU (Feb. 10), vs. CSU Bakersfield (Feb. 23), vs. Fordham (March 17) and vs. Akron (March 22) … recorded her first collegiate run scored in the season-opener vs. LIU Brooklyn (Feb. 8) … collected her first collegiate hit with a single and added her first career RBI on a bases loaded walk in the 9-0 (5) win over Delaware (Feb. 16) … notched her first stolen base versus Quinnipiac (Feb. 17) … stole three bases and scored three runs, both career highs, vs. CSU Bakersfield … also stole two bases vs. South Dakota (March 15) and in the second game of a doubleheader versus Akron (March 23) … registered a career-high three hits versus Cleveland State (March 16), while adding two hits in three games … her final hit of the season was her first collegiate double in a 5-3 victory in the second game of a doubleheader at WMU (April 13) … led the team with four sacrifice bunts.
BARTLETT ON MANUEL: Kim is a fiery competitor with an intense work ethic. It shines through in everything she does. She's a dynamic slapper and baserunner with elite level speed. She is also an exceptional outfielder with crazy range. We expect her to make an immediate impact.
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned three letters in softball at Oak Ridge High School for coach Amanda Brimberry … named first team all-district and all-county as a junior after finishing the year with a .441 batting average and a .504 on base percentage … all-district honorable mention as a sophomore after batting .333 with a .413 on base percentage … three-time all-district academic honor roll honoree.
CLUB: Has played one season of club ball for the Texas Threat.
