2021 (Junior): Named to the 2021 National Field Hockey College Association (NFHCA) Academic squad … tabbed to the Academic All-Mid-American Conference team … played in nine games for the Cardinals …. had a shot attempt in Mid-American Conference action at Ohio (9/24/21).
2020 (Sophomore): Named to the 2020 Zag/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division I National Academic Squad … appeared in five games … played against Louisville (3/7/21), Ohio (3/19/21), Longwood (3/27/21) and Bellarmine (4/2/21-4/3/21) ... also helped the Cardinals win six games for the first time since the 2016 season.
2019 (Freshman): Named to the 2019 Zag/Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division I National Academic squad … competed in five games as a reserve midfielder …. made collegiate debut at home in a 3-0 win against Saint Louis (9/6/19) …. helped the Cardinals to a 2-0 victory against Central Michigan (9/28/19) in her Mid-American Conference debut.
High School: Fondel captained Glenbard West High School in her senior season and earned the Illinois High School Field Hockey Association (IHSFHA) Sportsmanship Award. She helped Glenbard West to a third-place finish at the state championships three years in a row. Academically, Fondel was named to the All-Academic Team as a senior and is a four-year honor roll student.
