2017-18 (Senior): Appeared and started in 27 games this season . . . ranked second on the team in scoring (12.0 ppg) and in rebounding (6.7 rpg) . . . tied her career best with a 25-point performance against Austin Peay (12/18/17) . . . pulled down a personal high 13 rebounds at Cleveland State (11/11/17) . . . dished out a season high five assists versus Miami (1/13/18) . . . ranked first on the team with six blocks in a game against Western Kentucky (12/21/17) . . . recorded five double-doubles . . . helped the Cardinals to their best start in program history with an 11-0 non-conference slate.
2016-17 (Junior): Named the Mid-American Conference’s Sixth Player of the Year . . . Earned MAC West Division Player of the Week honors (2/7) . . . Washington was one of the main keys to the Cardinals’ success last season . . . Recorded four double-doubles while scoring a career-high 25 points against Akron (2/01) . . . Scored in double figures 14 times last season including three games on 20+ . . . Pulled down a personal best 12 rebounds four times . . . Ended the season as the third best scorer (10.2 ppg) and rebounder (6.2 rpg) . . . Played in all 32 games while averaging 20.4 minutes per contest . . . Helped Ball State clinch its fourth bye to Cleveland in five year in the MAC Tournament and fifth-straight berth in the post season Women’s National Invitation Tournament.
Prior To BSU: Washington graduated from Lawrence North High School in 2014 . . . She transferred to Ball State from Loyola University in Chicago, where as a freshman she started 13 out of 26 games . . . At Lawrence North, Washington averaged 10 points, eight rebounds, three steals and three blocks per game while helping the Wildcats to a 21-4 record as a senior . . . She also surpassed the 1,000 point mark and was selected to the Indiana Junior All-Star Team . . . Washington earned honorable mention for the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association/Underclassmen and All-State accolades from the Associated Press. She was also a First Team All-Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference honoree.
