2017 (So.): Played in 42 games with 31 starts, mainly as the designated hitter … team went 18-10 (.643) when he was the starting designated hitter … tallied multiple hits in six games … came through with a pinch hit grand slam, his first collegiate home run, to give the Cardinals a 6-4 lead in the eighth inning at Central Michigan on May 19 … went 2-for-3 with a double, triple and two RBIs in the win over Bowling Green on April 15 … notched three walks and a two-run double at Northern Illinois on April 29.

2016 (Fr.): Saw playing time in 10 contests with two starts at catcher and one as the designated hitter … notched a three-run triple in the 10-1 win at Savannah State on March 10 … reached base twice and scored a run in the win over Ohio on April 3.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letter winner for coach Scott Theisen at Saline High … three-year all-district selection and two-time captain … named to the Division I all-state team as a junior … helped his team to the state semifinals and state quarterfinals in his career … batted .400 with 39 hits, 11 doubles, two home runs and 29 runs scored as a junior … stole 15 bases and managed 35 RBIs and a .510 on-base percentage as a junior … also played quarterback on the football team and passed for nearly 3,000 yards with 26 touchdowns as a junior … a four-year honor roll student.
