• Played in 17 of a possible 58 games over her Ball State career

2017 (Fr.): Earned first letter at Ball State … saw action in 17 games … entered as a pinch runner 10 times, as a pinch hitter five times and as a defensive sub in the outfield twice … scored four runs on the season, while collecting a pair of RBI … finished the season with a .125 (1-for-8) batting average … her first collegiate hit was a RBI single in the fourth inning of Ball State’s 17-2 (5) win over Drake (Feb. 17) … also stole her first career base in the game after reaching via an error on a sacrifice bunt attempt in the third inning and then came around to score her first career run … logged an RBI groundout in Ball State’s 11-1 (6) victory over Penn (March 3) … also scored runs in the win at SIUE (March 18), in the second game at Buffalo (March 24) and at Central Michigan (April 28).
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four letters in softball at Clinton Massie for coach Anthony Lauer … named second team all-state after helping guide the Falcons to a 24-1 record her senior season, with the team’s lone loss coming in the district championship game to the eventual regional champion … three-time first team all-conference selection … as a junior, she led the Falcons to a sectional championship by producing a team-leading .484 batting average with 46 hits, 38 RBIs, 36 runs scored and nine home runs … will become the first student-athlete in school history to play Division I softball … in addition to her high school career, Robinson helped her Beverly Bandits 18U Travel Team capture the 2015 ASU/USA National Championship.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Andrew and Brittany Robinson … has one sister, Kenley, and one brother, Drew … her Aunt Mandy Estep played soccer at Eastern Kentucky … born March 30, 1998 in Clarksville, Ohio … full name is Caitlyn Jade Robinson … maintains a 3.400 grade point average as an art major.
