2019-20 (Junior): Led the team during fall action with an 11-3 mark … won title match at Purdue Fall Invite (9/22/19) … went undefeated at the West Virginia Martha Thorn Invite (10/20/19) … played in six dual matches in the spring … opened dual play with a win at IUPUI (1/17/20) on court five … closed out the spring with back-to-back wins over Findlay (2/15/20) and UC San Diego (3/4/20) … went 5-2 at No. 2 doubles in the Cardinals last eight matches alongside teammate Amy Kaplan … helped the Cardinals to one of their best spring starts with a 10-2 record prior to the the COVID-19 pandemic.
2018-19 (Sophomore): Earned Academic All-Mid-American Conference honors . . . posted a 4-1 mark in league play while playing primarily at the No. 5 and No. 6 singles positions . . . registered conference victories over Toledo, Buffalo, Northern Illinois and Akron . . . partnered up with teammate Sarah Swiderski for a successful doubles season as the twosome combined for a 14-3 overall record and finished with a 2-1 ledger in conference play.
2017-18 (Freshman): Appeared in 17 dual matches . . . posted an 11-6 overall mark . . . registered a 6-4 ledger at No. 5 singles and a 4-0 mark at No. 6 slot . . . opened freshman season with a five-match win streak from Jan. 20 to Feb. 16 . . . earned first collegiate victory at Big Ten foe Northwestern with a three set thriller over Carolin Pozo (1/20/18) . . . earned Mid-American Conference wins over Miami (3/22/18), Toledo (4/8/18) and Western Michigan (4/13/18) . . . captured a 5-0 record in doubles competition on courts two and three alongside teammate Peyton Gollhofer.
HIGH SCHOOL: Sec comes to Ball State from Manhattan, NY, and attended the Beacon School located in New York City . . . a four-star recruit and ranked 134 in the United States by tennisrecruiting.net. . . . was ranked sixth in her class for the state of New York.
Club Tennis: In 2016, Sec had great success competing in the United State Tennis Association summer circuit ... won the 2016 USTA Eastern Empire Cup National Doubles Tournament, the USTA L1 Pingry June Singles Championship and was a semi-finalist in the 2016 USTA Port Washington L1 singles tournament.
PERSONAL: The daughter of Eva Buckova and Lubos Sec, she has one brother, Oliver, who is a sophomore on the men's tennis team at Indiana.
