CAREER NOTES ENTERING 2021 SEASON
• Played in 61 of a possible 81 games over her career, earning 34 starts, with 22 coming at first base, five at third base, five as the designated player, one at shortstop and one in center field
• Has driven in one game-winning RBI over her Ball State career
2020 (So.): The season was shortened to 27 games due to the COVID-19 global pandemic … earned second letter at Ball State … played in 14 games, earning five starts … made four starts at first base and one start as the designated player … recorded three hits on the season, in the win at Jacksonville (Feb. 14), in the win versus Indiana State (Feb. 21) and the victory at Western Kentucky (Feb. 22) … drew four walks and was hit by a pitch twice for a .385 on base percentage … an RBI walk in the win over Prairie View A&M (Feb. 8) … scored a run in the win at Jacksonville … had a hand in turning four of the team’s 14 double plays … finished the shortened season with 28 putouts and one assist, while committing one error for a .967 fielding percentage.
2019 (Fr.): Earned first letter at Ball State … played in 47 games, earning 29 starts … made 18 starts at first base, five at third base, four as the designated player, one at shortstop and one in center field … finished the season with a .198 batting average, collecting 20 hits over 101 at bats … drew eight walks and was hit by a pitch three times for a .274 on base percentage … credited with eight doubles and five home runs … tallied 17 RBI and 13 runs scored … had multiple hits in four games and multiple RBI in three contests … recorded her first two collegiate hits and scored her first two collegiate runs in the 9-0 (5) win over Delaware (Feb. 16) … hit her first career double in the 5-2 (8) win over Utah State (Feb. 23) … smashed her first career home run, a three-run shot to right field, in the 8-2 win over Furman (March 2) … her sixth-inning RBI single drove in what proved to be the game-winning run in the 1-0 victory in the first game of a doubleheader at Bethune-Cookman (March 6) … followed with her second career home run in the nightcap, a 2-0 Ball State victory … recorded two doubles in both wins over Cleveland State (March 8 & March 16), and in the second game of a doubleheader sweep of Akron (March 23) … collected a pair of RBI in the first game of the DH sweep of the Zips … hit solo home runs versus Fordham (March 15) and in the 10-4 win over South Dakota (March 15) … her final home run of the season was a two-run, seventh-inning blast in the first game of a twinbill at Northern Illinois (April 2) … credited with 148 putouts and 16 assists on defense.
HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner in softball at Alexandria Monroe High School for coach Sarah Almack … earned first team all-state and Herald Bulletin Softball Player of the Year honors as a senior after producing a .514 batting average with 13 home runs, three triples and seven doubles to help guide the Tigers to a 20-11 overall record ... tallied 42 RBI and scored 47 runs as a senior, plus was named an Indiana All-Star and was recognized as the MaxPreps/NFCA National High School Player of the Week on April 28, 2018 ... earned first team all-state as a junior after boasting a .522 batting average with 10 home runs, two triples and 12 doubles to help guide the Tigers to a sectional championship … team captain her junior season, she also collected 36 RBI and scored 42 runs over 28 games … a three-time team MVP, she is also a four-time first team All-Central Indiana Conference honoree ... earned second team all-state honors as a sophomore after batting .494 with four home runs, three triples and 11 doubles over 85 at bats … drove in 25 RBI and scored 32 runs as a sophomore … finished her freshman campaign with a .453 batting average, smashing three home runs, one triple and nine doubles … collected 28 RBI and scored 31 runs her debut season … also earned four letters in volleyball and four in basketball at Alexandria Monroe … team captain of her volleyball squad as a senior, she helped guide the program to three conference championships, two county titles and one sectional championship.
