Appeared in 31 games to earn his first letter at Ball State . . . made six starts as the designated hitter and served as one of the team’s top bats off the bench, leading the Cardinals with 17 pinch hit at bats . . . notched three doubles and five RBI . . . made his first start for Ball State March 7 at Belmont and went 1-for-4 at the plate . . . recorded his first multiple-hit game as a Cardinal in the MAC Tournament game against Central Michigan (May 25), hitting safely in both of his plate appearances . . . drove in a run against No. 1 seed Kentucky (June 4) in the NCAA Regional . . . also collected one RBI each at UAB (Feb. 17), vs. Miami (March 31), at Northern Illinois (May 13) and at Central Michigan (May 18).

Earned two letters under Coach Don Brandon . . . batted .330 with 38 hits, eight home runs, 20 RBI and 27 runs scored in 116 at bats as a sophomore . . . set school record with 19-game hitting streak as a freshman . . . led team in hitting his first year . . . played summer ball for the Celina Mariners of the Great Lakes Collegiate League.
