Baseball Honored with ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award

Ball State 1 of 5 Programs to be Recognized with Award in 11 Straight Seasons
The Ball State baseball program has been honored with the ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award by the American Baseball Coaches Association for the 2025-26 school year.
Programs must achieve at least a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for the 2025-26 academic year to be eligible for the distinction.
The Cardinals have now won the award in 11 straight seasons, with the team being 1 of 5 NCAA Division I programs to do so including East Carolina, Oregon State, St. John's and UAB.
The academic recognition is the latest in recent weeks following the 2026 season in addition to 11 Academic All-MAC Team selections and five CSC Academic All-District Team selections.
